This is to break the bolt. The square hole is for a 1/2" breaker bar. Heat will kill the dampner/rubber parts.

Isn't this to pull the pulley out of the crankshaft once the bolt is loose???
Hammad needs help loosening the bolt.
Try heating it up with a blow torch then turn it with a breaker bar.
I'm gonna need to do this next year to install my new timing belt and ATI damper.

Get a long breaker bar and make sure you know what direction the motor turns then lift the car a little off the ground and turn the key to start it, the force breaks free the bolt. Be careful, you DO NOT want to start it up, just bump it over.
