[mkiv] Tire pressures

I always put little more pressure for street (+2..3 psi) to get better tire wear. That's no good for wet but I don't drive much in wet. If I have to then I'd take 3..4 psi of from the base (OEM).
For track I inflate to 42 psi and then slowly reduce proper wear marks appear. It's hard to explain what to look for -- ask any instructor to show.
