[mkiv] Factory oil cooler alternatives

John Cribb has a good set up. However let me spill my 2 cents FWIW. Our
factory oil cooler does double duty in that it first helps to heat the
oil up to proper operating temperature much faster than a normal thermo
controlled air oil cooler would. If we drive around on cold oil it's
properties do not lube the engine bearings and other valuable pieces of
our cars well since oil need to be hot to properly do it's job. However
I am also under the belief our stock oil cooler can soon be out of their
efficiency range when boosting high say during a road course, since oil
temps will climb to scary values after a few laps. For my own car I use
the factory oil cooler and a thermo controlled aftermarket oil cooler.
That way my oil comes up to proper operating temps fast but stays where
it is supposed too under spirited driving.

What works for me might not for you since you are more worried about 1/4
mile times and weight savings though.
