[mkiv] Has anybody used iPod adapter for stock head unit?

My factory stereo has cd changer buttons and is marked as model 16808. The
exact same part was used in 98+ Solara (1), which had factory cd changer
option, and is compatible with aftermarket PA11-TOY adapter (2).

I ordered PA11-TOY but don't have it yet.

I'm curious if anyone else tried this?
