[mkiv] Car pull to the right

I can't tell 'ya how many times I've had alignment shops set it to wander to the right "for safety" and insist it's correct. The theory is that if you fall asleep at the wheel you won't drift into oncoming traffic. I say screw that, set it to go straight!
I encountered a local Toyota dealer whose service department was able to make my last MkIV that was 100% stock pull like you described on their first alignment attempt, they agreed to "recheck it" when I complained, and their second try eliminated the pull but somehow made it totally undriveable on the interstate because the ass-end of the car would begin whipping back and forth at any speed above about 60mph, which it hadn't ever done before they touched my car, and they kept telling me it was fine. I haven't gone back there ever since. I used to recommend them to friends with IRS cars, now I warn everyone I know to avoid them.
They had aligned several of my MkIII Supras beautifully year after year for 6 years but apparently that alignment guy had quit and the new guy is clueless.
At the recommendation of another local MkIV owner I heard about an older local guy that races vintage 240ZX's that had his own shop and alignment machine, I dropped it off to him one evening, and he took it from undriveable to perfect on the first try. I'm still pissed that Katrina flooded his shop and he moved away because I'm still looking for another alignment shop again...

My car pulls to the right...it feels like a steady, relatively strong
pull, although it feels worse on acceleration.
My steering rack has been leaking for a while...in an attempt to
address the pull problem, I recently had the steering rack rebuilt and
an alignment done at a very reputable alignment shop. The shop used
Lance's specs, with some tweaking. I had the alignment guy check the
suspension, and everything checked out fine (no worn bushings or bent
arms).
To my disappointment, the car still pulls to the right. I don't like
driving the car, as the pull is that strong...you have to constantly
exert counter-clockwise pressure on the steering wheel to keep a
straight line.
Does anyone have any advice on where to look or what the problem may
be? I've already had one wheel bearing replaced a few years ago, but
I haven't recently checked them.
I'm going to return to the car to the shop next week, but would like some ideas.
TIA,
Brian
