[mkiv] Viper vs. Z06 Corvette

I'm with Andi; the Nissan GT-R (Skyline) will be coming in 2008, and its
specs sound like what the MKV Supra ought to be.

It has a TT V6 putting out 450 BHP into an AWD drivetrain, and looks to die
for. Nice rounded corners, not ugly squared off wedges, nor like it just
came out of some South LA chop shop with a riced out fiberglass body kit,
like the latest Lexus IS-F.

Supposedly it also has a power to weight ratio on par with the 911 Turbo.

I hate to say it but if Toyota brought the Supra back
I don't think it would be the same car we all know.
Emissions, production cost would lead them to take
short-cuts where the MKIV was high quality in every
aspect :-(
 
If I were getting another sports car the only car I
would consider at this point is a Z06 or a Viper.
