If you want a racecar, why would you even consider a targa? You need to
start with the stiffest chassis you can get and go from there. If you
can get a 6 speed with a hard top, don't even bother with the other
options. It has a wider transmission tunnel so when you decide that you
really want an auto, you'll have all the room the factory ever gave for
fitting an adequate slush box.

what exactly is cowl shake and won't a roll cage help
that? I plan on putting one in but I don't know what
size yet. I plan on running 9's with slicks and I've
heard that some tracks require certain size roll cages
so I'll have to do more research on that before
purchasing one.
